DEBORAH LANGE MARQUES
Deborah is an MBA and holds a Bachelor Business Admin (Honours), BComm (Honours), Licentiate Speech and Drama Teachers Diploma, National Higher Diploma Marketing and Sales Management.
She offers academic and business knowledge, creative flair and most importantly a deep love for what she does. South African born and raised, Deborah lived in Brazil for five years, relocating to Australia in 2008. This enables her to bring a cross-cultural understanding to the way she helps her clients craft stand-out application packages to compete for places in the world’s leading universities in the USA, UK and Europe.
Through one-on-one brainstorming and consulting, Deborah finds herself feeling privileged to be entrusted with her clients’ personal and professional stories and dreams and she truly values the role she is able to play in helping them realize life-changing aspirations.
Under her creative and editing guidance, her clients’ stories are transformed into applications that stand out among applicants to Ivy League universities and many of the world’s most competitive academic programs and scholarships, including the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. She has an uncompromising approach to achieving benchmark quality and the willingness to go above and beyond for every client.
PATRICIA CAS MONTEIRO
A graduate of USP in the Social Sciences, Patricia Monteiro enriched her undergraduate studies as a research assistant for Professors Ruth Cardoso and Reginaldo Brandi. With a strong interest in the arts, she spent a year in New York studying dance after which she returned to Brazil and joined the advertising industry. A few years later she also took on the role of Assistant Director to Harry Silverstein in the production of the opera The Fall Of the House Of Usher, working with both Harry and composer Phillip Glass in Sao Paulo and New York.
During this time, she was approached to coach an MBA applicant in preparation for his TOEFL and GMAT admissions test and this was the start of the business she founded as Pcasmon and which is close to celebrating its 30th year anniversary of helping hundreds of undergraduate and post graduate clients realize their educational and professional development goals.
Her proficiency in English, together with advanced English courses in the UK, allowed Patricia to expand her teaching portfolio to include students studying to sit the PSAT, SAT, ACT, GMAT, LSAT and GRE examinations. She also began mentoring the application process, from assisting applicants in finding their fit from a plethora of colleges and schools in the USA, Canada, UK and Europe, to the post-application stage of interview preparation and everything in between. This includes brainstorming essay strategy, review and editing of essays, resumes, cover letters and much more.
While working with various editors in the ensuing years, it was when Deborah Marques joined her at the end of 1994 that she felt she had found a true partner and the two have worked together ever since.
